This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data content of the Application Control Totals Transaction Set (831) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used to transmit totals associated with a collection of like transactions.The items reported in this transaction set must be of the same transaction set ID code.
