EDI 215 Motor Carrier Pickup Manifest

This X12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Motor Carrier Pick-up Manifest Transaction Set (215) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set can be used to allow shippers, or other parties, to provide a motor carrier with a manifest of all of the shipments tendered to a carrier. It is not to be used to provide a motor carrier with data relative to a load tender, legal bill of lading, pick-up notification, or appointment scheduling.
