Another distinctive challenge was Cyril’s unique shipment process. Managed by CWI, a logistics and warehousing company, this process required Cyril’s Foods to establish a custom EDI setup. The integration needed to support CWI’s EDI 856 transactions, which were dropped into an FTP server and then fetched, validated for compliance and forwarded to Cyril’s trading partners. This level of customization demanded a solution that could adapt and respond to Cyril’s specific needs.

A custom integration was built to automatically fetch shipment files from CWI’s FTP server, validate the data for compliance and transmit it smoothly to the respective trading partners. This automated process eliminated manual intervention, ensuring speed and accuracy in data exchange.
